Responsible Individual – Parent and Child Assessment Centre (Part-time contract)

 

Location: Colnbrook, Slough

Rate: £350 per day

Contract: Part-time contract, moving to approximately one day per week once the centre opens

 

Pro Social Partners are proud to be working in partnership with Cedars Nest to recruit a Responsible Individual for their new Residential Family Centre in the Colnbrook area of Slough.

 

The centre is currently going through Ofsted registration, so involvement is minimal until it opens, then settles at around one day per week. This suits an experienced Responsible Individual who wants a well-paid, flexible commitment alongside other work.

 

The Role

As Responsible Individual, you will:

Support the service through Ofsted registration, including the registration interview.

Hold Ofsted responsibility for the quality of care, compliance, and governance once the centre is operating.

Oversee safeguarding arrangements, policies, and quality assurance systems.

Support and hold to account the manager and staff team on practice standards.

Build relationships with placing authorities, Ofsted, and partner agencies.

 

About You

You will be an experienced regulated-services leader with:

Prior Responsible Individual experience (essential).

Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and governance.

A track record of supporting services through registration.

The availability to commit around one day per week once the centre opens.
